The company Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Product Solutions Engineering team is looking for an experienced and motivated Software Development Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs and other systems for OCI’s Dedicated Region Cloud @Customer (DRCC) and the company Alloy customers. This is an opportunity to help build a competitive offering from its nascency and extend the reach of OCI to address green field opportunities across the globe. Responsibilities
- The job requires you to be well accustomed with different DevOps tools and technologies.
- An aptitude towards fast learning, adapting to frequent changes, and motivation towards automation of everything programming/scripting knowledge is a must.
- You should be motivated to work in an independent environment, curious to learn and implement new tools/technologies with a confidence to work and fix any technical issue that comes along.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
- 7+ years of experience on DevOps Tools/Skills, Programming/Scripting language (Bash/shell, Python, Java, PL/SQL, etc.) and full-stack development.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required for this role.
- Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts (data structures, algorithms, and programming paradigms).
- Experience with components of modern infrastructure like service discovery, secret storage, containerization, software-defined networking, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Drives operational readiness and excellence of their features and subsystems.
