For this engineering role, we are looking for an individual who has experience and capabilities in full stack software development, software validation, debugging, and documentation using a DevOps approach with modern tools and languages. Strong soft skills to complement technical acumen are essential, as is effective communication and collaboration with others. The work is complex and non-routine, requiring advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization. As a leading contributor, you will also provide direction and mentoring to others.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering or related experience
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps tools/skills, programming/scripting languages (Bash/shell, Python, Java, PL/SQL, etc.), and full-stack development
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Strong understanding of Computer Science concepts (data structures, algorithms, and programming paradigms)
- Skill in writing secure, maintainable, and robust code, along with appropriate testing strategies
- Experience in building highly available services and knowledge of service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols
- Familiarity with components of modern infrastructure such as service discovery, secret storage, containerization, and software-defined networking
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical ideas clearly in verbal and written forms, including proposals, design specifications, architecture diagrams, and presentations
