We’re looking for an outstanding Principal Program Manager who will formulate the strategy for sustainable technologies, develop the detailed plans, and execute pilots to demonstrate the viability of these technologies. You will manage multiple ambiguous initiatives as a program for our Africa, Middle East & Turkey (AMET) operations. By partnering with the business units, you will originate, develop, and manage new sustainability technologies to support these core businesses. You will also manage strategic business relationships and build external partnerships for this region. You will partner with various stakeholders like engineering, program management, safety, operations, learning, and maintenance to implement solutions while generating excitement for the customer experience.

This position impacts a global set of stakeholders, so the ability to consider a diverse set of viewpoints is critical to ensuring that pilot, training, adoption, and engagement are appropriate for the locale. A successful candidate has previous exposure to sustainability (scopes 1, 2 & 3) and beyond carbon (water, waste, circularity, biodiversity). Up to 25% travel is required. This role can be based in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or Türkiye.

  • Building long-term partnerships across a wide range of third-party partners, including legacy OEMs and startups.
  • Leading white paper and cross-functional reviews to gain consensus and leadership buy-in on plans, funding, and program status.
  • Supporting vendor evaluations and assessments including product roadmaps, manufacturing plans, cost targets, and site permitting activities.
  • Leading the development of plans and strategy for evaluation of the technologies for the AMET market at fulfillment centers, delivery stations, and other Amazon buildings. Support other regions including Japan, India, and Australia on a need basis.
  • Writing effective narratives and presenting them to Directors and VPs.
  • Demonstrating strong program management, organizational, and leadership skills to facilitate effective, collaborative project meetings.

Basic Qualifications
