Principal Program Scheduler

The company, a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Principal Program Scheduler to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the PMO function, particularly focusing on managing complex project schedules for GPU deployments. The individual will work with an integrated project schedule across the portfolio to ensure resource alignment and the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain portfolio scheduling standards including WBS, calendars, dependencies, and time risk allowances.
• Build and reconcile the cross-functional schedule with dependencies to ensure realistic forecasts for project planning.
• Identify critical paths and schedule floats, running what-if scenarios and modeling impacts of changes.
• Publish portfolio dashboards and reports to drive executive decisions.
• Coordinate with project managers and project support functions for schedule inputs and approvals.
• Operate scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and maintain controlled repositories for schedules, minutes, and logs.
• Foster an environment of constant improvement.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 2 years in data center and/or GPU environments.
• Proficient in communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry-standard scheduling tools (e.g., MS Projects, Primavera P6).

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with GPU deployments.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and G42 Cloud.

Language Requirements: Proficient in English (both written and verbal communication).
