Key Responsibilities
- Manage the primary business functions from project proposal through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Implement and manage integrated project controls systems, overseeing progress measurement, cost reporting, forecasting, earned value management, schedule performance monitoring, risk management, and administrative process development.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to present timely and accurate project status information to executive management and clients.
- Lead the development of commercial proposal documentation, budget estimates, and resource plans.
- Manage commercial negotiations for new contracts, amendments, and change orders to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maximize project profitability.
- Analyze and forecast manpower requirements across multiple projects and programs for optimal resource utilization.
- Participate in all capital project planning and execution phases for both client and company stakeholders, including feasibility studies, budgeting, project authorization, execution strategy development, and performance reviews.
- Prepare and coordinate annual audits, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain contract rate structures and support contract rate adjustment submissions.
- Oversee financial performance analyses, revenue forecasts, and cash flow projections for corporate management, providing guidance to improve business performance.
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of monthly client invoices and follow up for payment approvals to achieve cash collection targets.
- Direct the development and continuous improvement of operational procedures and best practices for the Project Controls Department.
- Ensure timely delivery of contractual reports with clear insights that exceed client expectations.
- Supervise document control personnel to ensure compliance with procedures, contractual requirements, and client standards, focusing on process optimization and operational efficiency improvements.
- Manage project IT infrastructure and communication systems.
- Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, mobilization, and deployment of multinational project personnel, ensuring compliance with visa, housing, and transport requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for successful project delivery.
- Mentor and develop project control and business management personnel, promoting professional growth and succession planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry and offshore projects is required.
