The Artificial Intelligence Cross-Center Unit at TII serves as the machine learning powerhouse, collaborating closely with other research centers to leverage the benefits of AI across various projects. This unit drives innovation through new computing paradigms and develops AI methodologies, technologies, and systems that address complex issues in multiple sectors, including technology, healthcare, cybersecurity, and government.
As a Principal Researcher in NLP and LLM, you will manage a team dedicated to creating, adapting, and enhancing algorithms for diverse applications in natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLM). You will collaborate with internal and external researchers and engineers to push the boundaries of AI technology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop NLP models and algorithms specifically for Human Computer Interaction applications.
- Evaluate and improve new algorithms and techniques to enhance the accuracy and performance of NLP models.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and researchers to integrate NLP solutions into user-friendly applications.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the NLP and LLM fields.
- Formulate innovative concepts and new research directions that align with product roadmaps.
- Lead prototype development by engaging with end-user communities and industry/academic partners to facilitate technology deployment.
- Implement division-wide initiatives to routinely assess the state-of-the-art in NLP/LLM within industry and academia.
- Maintain industry leadership in NLP technologies by establishing best practices and identifying strategic opportunities for differentiation.
- Mentor and coach NLP/LLM scientists and engineers.
- Present research findings through papers, reports, and demonstrations and generate proposals for new projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- 12+ years of experience in the domain.
- Deep understanding of NLP and LLM.
- Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proven experience with TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
