Position

The Principal Sales Lead - Application Services (f/m/d) will drive the growth of Custom Application offerings and provide subject matter expertise to our clients. This critical role identifies and researches potential clients, engages with prospects, describes our services, and closes sales. Leveraging deep industry knowledge and expertise, the Principal Sales Lead understands customer needs and applies consultative selling techniques to lead the definition of solutions and proposals. This highly collaborative approach often requires orchestrating execution across a variety of clients and internal personnel, building deep and lasting relationships along the way. The role may require travel to meet with clients as necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide sales technical expertise for the development and implementation of complex digital products/applications/solutions.
  • Leverage deep industry knowledge to build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions that drive revenue and customer success.
  • Engage with prospects and existing clients using consultative selling techniques to uncover pain points and business needs, guiding them to the best possible solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Work closely with the solution team and practice experts to develop customized solutions that address client-specific challenges.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry and regional trends, challenges, and opportunities to provide insightful guidance and strategic advice on the industry for technology, product, and business clients.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding focus and needs, anticipating them in advance.
  • Drive the overall growth for the Application Services and BPS business in the MEA region.

Basic qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in consulting or IT services industries sales.
  • Multiple years’ experience negotiating, shaping, and closing large deals in the professional services space.
  • Several years’ experience selling Custom Application Development, Application Architecture & Legacy Modernization services/solutions.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English languages.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Master’s Degree is preferred).
  • Lead the sales of application services targeting enterprise customers across the Middle East region, driving strategic growth and client engagement.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of 10+ years in successfully managing and closing complex sales cycles, focusing on high-value enterprise deals.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written).
