Responsibilities
- Define and evolve engineering vision and full stack architecture across frontend, BFF, and backend tiers.
- Deliver production-grade code across Node.js, React/Angular, Python, and cloud-native components.
- Lead design sessions for high-performance, scalable systems with an emphasis on clean architecture and DDD.
- Architect secure, resilient applications using Azure PaaS/IaaS services, AKS, and serverless components.
- Drive end-to-end CI/CD strategy with Azure DevOps, GitOps, and Kubernetes pipelines.
- Oversee modeling and integration for distributed data stores (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
- Enforce full-stack observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, and SLO-based engineering.
- Develop technical leadership in others through mentoring and leading engineering guilds.
- Explore and introduce new frameworks, languages, and paradigms aligned with business and tech goals.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams to translate strategic goals into technology.
Qualifications
To qualify, you must have:
- Advanced experience in modern programming languages such as Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks including React.js (v18+), Angular (v14+), TailwindCSS, and Material UI.
- Expertise in backend frameworks such as Nest.js, Express.js, FastAPI, and Flask.
- Knowledge of architecture patterns like Microservices, BFF, Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Familiarity with databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.
- Competence in DevOps and Infrastructure tools like Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with automated testing, quality gates, and release orchestration in CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience with observability tools and security standards.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Enterprise experience in leading high-stakes projects in regulated, multi-tenant, or high-availability environments.
- Relevant technical certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Thought leadership demonstrated through published whitepapers or open-source contributions.
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
