As a Principal Engineer in the Business Platform Experience (BPX) organization, you will serve as the technical authority for our B2B platform. This includes managing the systems, APIs, and experiences relied upon by real estate agencies and agents to operate effectively. You will set the technical direction for core areas such as listings lifecycle, integrations, onboarding, and billing, ensuring our Enterprise APIs connect the company with agency CRMs and the wider real estate ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the long-term technical vision and own the architecture for core BPX domains.
- Design scalable, resilient systems to support multiple markets and products across MENA.
- Champion engineering standards and improve operational health for B2B systems.
- Mentor and coach other engineers, enhancing their skills in system design and architectural thinking.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps that balance innovation with technical sustainability.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Substantial experience in software engineering, particularly in large-scale platforms.
- Proven leadership in driving architecture and technical strategy.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, API design, and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
