We are seeking a Principal Solution Architect for Integration and Platform to design, implement, and operate resilient platform strategies to enable scalability, performance, and stability as part of a major Cloud ERP transformation and its ongoing service operations. This is a 36-month fixed-term contract based in Dubai, with 5 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and governance of new corporate and portfolio IT standards, guidelines, and practices, analysing and understanding the potential impact of competing technologies.
- Scout the market for technology advancements and new business innovations, leading the work to amend existing assets or create new assets reflecting changes in the technology landscape.
- Lead the solution architecture development for new initiatives, vendor solution acquisitions, and enhancement of existing systems, taking full responsibility for the quality of the architecture, including integration architecture.
- Provide expert advice and lead solution design reviews on technical and architectural standards to projects.
- Provide architecture and technology leadership to development teams by acting as the lead architect/driver in Teams of Teams or Agile/Release Trains.
- Manage, direct, inspire, and coach Solutions Architect and Senior Engineering resources, engaging a wider virtual team of senior managers and subject matter experts.
- Own, manage, and maintain the architecture roadmap and runways of complex/large projects, ensuring the identification and prioritization of technical enablers and quality improvements.
Qualifications
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, including engineering and operating enterprise-grade cloud and/or hybrid infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.
- Proven experience working with Cloud ERP platforms, including active involvement in ERP cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong hands-on and architectural experience with SaaS and PaaS platforms supporting Cloud ERP ecosystems.
- Lead the definition and ownership of integration and deployment architecture blueprints for Cloud ERP platforms.
- Work closely with ERP vendors and platform providers to align solution designs with enterprise architecture standards.
- Create and manage Architecture governance practices, including architecture change management and deviations.
- Maintain strong industry awareness of Cloud ERP vendors, platform roadmaps, and emerging technologies.
