Responsibilities
- Leadership & People Management: Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Architects, providing coaching, technical guidance, and career development support. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Technical Delivery & Accountability: Own and drive the end-to-end technical delivery of large-scale, complex projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as a senior technical point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and client expectations.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects, managing risks, dependencies, and change.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Lead technical assessments and recommend best-fit solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business strategy.
Requirements
- Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or principal role. Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technology projects in fast-paced big data environments.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern software architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, containerisation).
- Leadership & Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to manage client expectations and influence decision-making.
