The company is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect – Financial Services to play a pivotal role in shaping, designing, and delivering large-scale AI-driven solutions for banks, insurers, capital markets firms, and regulators across the GCC and international markets. This is a senior, customer-facing role for an individual who combines deep Financial Services domain expertise with strong architectural leadership across data, AI, and cloud platforms.
As a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior technology leaders, you will help institutions translate strategic business priorities into secure, scalable, and outcome-driven AI architectures. You will work closely with the company’s Financial Services leadership, product teams, and delivery partners to define industry-specific solutions, accelerate adoption, and shape the company’s go-to-market strategy across priority FSI clients.
Responsibilities:

FSI Client Advisory & Solution Leadership: Serve as a lead architectural and technical authority for Financial Services engagements, advising clients on enterprise-grade AI, data, and cloud architectures aligned to regulatory and operational constraints. Engage directly with C-suite, CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Risk and Compliance to shape AI-enabled transformation agendas.

Architecture & Platform Design: Define secure, scalable, and sovereign-ready architectures spanning data platforms, AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, and cloud infrastructure. Lead the design of industry-specific AI solutions across banking, insurance, payments, capital markets, and regulatory use cases.

Go-to-Market & Industry Strategy: Act as a core member of the FSI go-to-market leadership team, supporting country and regional strategies. Partner with sales and industry teams to shape propositions, solution narratives, and client-specific roadmaps.

Technical Leadership & Enablement: Coach and mentor architects and engineers working on Financial Services engagements. Represent the company as a thought leader in client forums and industry events.

Delivery & Execution Oversight: Support early-stage solution definition through implementation oversight, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with client outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience across enterprise architecture, cloud, data analytics, AI/ML, or large-scale technology platforms.
- Significant hands-on experience with Financial Services institutions (banking, insurance, capital markets).
- Proven ability to define and execute end-to-end technology roadmaps supporting large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-facing presentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and leading distributed engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in enterprise, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms including Azure (mandatory), G42 Cloud, and AWS.
- Knowledge of frontend/backend technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Node.js.
- Familiarity with AI/ML architectures and Python-based development.
- Understanding of databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, identity and access management frameworks, and container orchestration technologies.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English; additional languages may be advantageous.
