Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic technical leader to provide architectural guidance necessary to promote and accelerate customer adoption of AWS.
- Ensure customer and partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS, ensuring successful deployment in the cloud.
- Educate customers and partners of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers and partners to enable them to be cloud advocates.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
- Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts.
- Formulate and execute a sales strategy with the sales and partner team to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
- Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and service engineering teams.
Work Conditions
- Willingness to travel within the Kingdom up to 70% of the time.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience working with energy companies (e.g., oil & gas, power, utilities, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Saudi National.
- Cloud Technology Certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, Cloud DevOps Engineering).
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Experience migrating legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) for seismic data processing.
- Experience working with AWS AI and machine learning services.
