Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Architecture: Develop high-level architectural solutions that align with client business needs and technology strategies, create detailed design specifications, and communicate architectural visions to stakeholders.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with development, Infrastructure, DevOps, and IT operations teams to ensure successful implementation and provide technical guidance to architects and technical teams.
- Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce architectural standards and conduct reviews to ensure compliance. Proactively identify risks and opportunities, developing strategies for mitigation and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and develop strong relationships as a strategic partner and technical advisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (a Master's degree is preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a solutions architect role.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing complex IT solutions, preferably in Commercial/Institutional Banking or financial markets/products.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Skills Required:
- Experience in enterprise application engineering with coding skills in Java, .NET, Python, or Ruby.
- Deep expertise in solution architecture, including web services and databases (both relational and non-relational).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language.
