As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role leading the Enterprise Integration and API Modernisation programme from Enterprise Architecture. You are responsible for defining and leading the enterprise-wide integration architecture strategy, standards, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the overall Enterprise Architecture vision. You will drive the adoption of modern integration capabilities including AI-ready and API-first Integrations, event-driven architecture, cross-cloud integrations, microservices, and AI-enabled integration solutions and intelligent automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and governance of new corporate and portfolio IT standards, guidelines, and practices by analyzing and understanding potential impacts of competing technologies.
- Scout market and track technology advancements and new business innovations, determining how they relate to our IT strategy and lead the work to amend existing assets or create new ones.
- Lead the solution architecture development for new initiatives, vendor solution acquisitions, and enhancement of existing systems, ensuring quality and alignment to agile architecture development practices.
- Provide expert advice and lead solution design reviews to projects on technical and architectural standards.
- Provide architecture and technology leadership to development teams by playing the lead architect role in Agile Release Trains.
- Manage, direct, inspire, and coach the work of Solutions Architect and Senior Engineering resources.
- Own, manage, and maintain the architecture roadmap and runways of complex projects, technical products, environments, and/or platforms.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (12+3 or equivalent).
- 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Integration Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Solution Architecture leadership roles.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale integration platforms and digital ecosystems, with hands-on expertise in related technologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise integration technologies, including SnapLogic, TIBCO, Informatica, and various cloud services.
- Experience driving adoption of AI-assisted integration development including AI-powered API design and documentation.
- Experience leading cross-portfolio architectural intent and engaging with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Security, Cloud, and Business stakeholders at senior levels.
- Certifications: AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect preferred.
