Position

As a member of the Support organization, the Principal Success Services Engineer will focus on delivering post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while acting as an advocate for customer needs. Responsibilities include resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means and addressing technical questions related to the use and troubleshooting of our Electronic Support Services.

This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, facilitating relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues. Strong business communication skills are required for effective interaction with sales, pre-sales, technical account managers, and customers, with essential presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for customer needs and facilitate strong customer relationships.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and provide technical support on Oracle databases.
  • Administer Oracle database environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies as well as manage database migrations.
  • Ensure database security and performance tuning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Oracle database administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Exadata, Oracle Golden Gate, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
