Position

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as addressing technical questions regarding the use and troubleshooting of our Electronic Support Services.

You will act as a primary point of contact for customers, responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues. High expectations are set for the candidate to be skilled in business communications with sales, pre-sales, technical account managers, and customers. Strong presentation skills are essential.

The successful candidate will possess a passion for participating in business growth, complemented by talented technical skills in the following areas:

  • Database Administration: Expertise in Oracle database versions 11g/12c/19c, including installation, design, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Backup and Recovery: Knowledge in RMAN and user-managed backups, recovery methods, and fixing database corruptions.
  • Database Migration/Upgrades: Experience in migrating databases with minimal downtime and executing database upgrades using various methodologies.
  • Oracle Data Guard & RAC: Configuring, administering, and troubleshooting standby databases in single and RAC environments.
  • Performance Tuning: Proficient in analyzing and resolving performance issues through various tuning methods and tools.
  • Cloud Management: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including services related to the database, networking, and storage.

The candidate must demonstrate self-motivation, the ability to work well in a team, leadership capabilities, and support the sales cycle by driving discussions for necessary clarifications and estimating effort for delivery.
