Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Drive the system engineering tasks on the allocated project including:
- Compile and maintain the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
- Develop specifications of the system and lower-level subsystems for the development team
- Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Create architectural designs in consultation with design authorities and capture in various documentation
- Technical management of multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate with logistics/product support development and safety for specialist engineering capabilities
- Develop the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
- Support system qualification and ensure compliance reports are written based on test results
- Follow methodology to meet Quality Assurance requirements including test repeatability
- Maintain a decision register for major decisions
- Coordinate and lead technical Design Reviews and Test Readiness Reviews
- Hold Configuration Control Boards and process Engineering Change Proposals/Notices/Requests
- Participate in Material Review Boards
- Generate technical work packages, reports, and presentations to support project management
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in a high-tech environment, preferably 15 years in aerospace
- Minimum 5 years (preferably 10 years) working experience as a systems engineer
- Previous experience within the aeronautics engineering environment is preferred
