Principal Technical Architect

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Technical Architect who will serve as a pre-sales customer-facing enterprise domain expert, applying broad technical skills with industry knowledge and deep business acumen. This role will involve supporting sales teams in developing Salesforce value propositions that align with customers' business strategies on digital transformation and cloud adoption.

The Salesforce Cloud Technical Architect is a subject matter expert in areas including business strategy, application architecture, data & information, integration, security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, distributed platforms, mobile, and analytics. Utilizing a consultative approach, the Principal Technical Architect will understand business and technical requirements to determine which Salesforce and third-party technologies to leverage for customer-driven architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/Architect level contacts as they move to a cloud architecture.
• Presenting Salesforce technology infrastructure and demonstrating familiarity with the platform's capabilities.
• Conducting architecture and technical workshops, managing customer technical due diligence, and risk management processes.
• Collaborating with various Salesforce organizational elements to develop and execute programs and initiatives.
• Assisting sales teams with RFPs and technical requirements.
• Mentoring junior technical resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Multi-year experience in software, system, or enterprise architecture disciplines.
• Good understanding of architectural principles of cloud-based platforms such as SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
