Principal Technical Architect

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Technical Architect who will serve as a pre-sales customer-facing enterprise domain expert. The ideal candidate will apply broad technical skills and deep business acumen to support sales teams in developing Salesforce value propositions aligned with customers' digital transformation and cloud adoption strategies.

The Principal Technical Architect will be a subject matter expert in one or more areas, including business strategy, application architecture, data and information management, integration, security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, distributed platforms, mobile, and analytics. A consultative approach will be utilized to understand both business and technical requirements, enabling effective recommendations on Salesforce and third-party technologies for customer-driven architectures based on product knowledge and industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/Architect-level contacts, guiding them through transitioning to a cloud architecture.
• Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, highlighting platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities.
• Conduct architecture and technical workshops, manage technical due diligence, and collaborate with various Salesforce organizational elements.
• Mentor and guide junior technical resources, while attaining quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Multi-year experience in software, system, or enterprise architecture disciplines.
• Good understanding of cloud-based platform architectural principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
