About the Role
The regional (EMEA) consulting team is expanding. This role will support the growth of our UAE consulting business, particularly focusing on a key national energy customer and other major energy-sector clients. The work will encompass complex consulting and early-phase development assignments, with a specific emphasis on gas processing, integrated gas developments, and high-end technical advisory support.
This is a senior study delivery role within our EMEA consulting practice, facilitating the continued development of our UAE business and our work with key major energy-sector clients. You will have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary feasibility, concept selection, pre-FEED, and strategic consulting studies from mobilisation through to completion, with responsibility for both successful delivery and commercial performance. The role provides exposure to major investment decisions, access to technical specialists across the wider group, and a career path that can develop into client account leadership, business management, or broader consulting leadership.

Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary consulting, feasibility, concept selection, pre-FEED, and other early-phase studies.
- Take overall accountability for safe study execution, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and commercial performance.
- Establish the study execution strategy, workplan, deliverables, resourcing requirements, and interfaces.
- Act as the primary point of contact with the client throughout execution and maintain focus on the decisions and outcomes required.
- Coordinate engineering, technical, commercial and specialist contributors across multiple disciplines and locations.
- Lead study kick-offs, progress reviews, workshops, and key decision-making sessions.
- Manage budgets, variations, scope changes, risks, opportunities, and interfaces proactively.
Qualities and Experience:
The following are preferred:
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including significant experience leading multidisciplinary feasibility, concept, and front-end studies.
- Demonstrated experience delivering studies and projects within the energy, oil and gas, or related industries.
- Strong project and commercial management capability, including control of budgets, schedules, scope, and change.
- Strong experience working in the Middle East and an understanding of top tier energy expectations, project environment, and ways of working.
- Confident client-facing and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to present complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to provide direction to multidisciplinary teams while maintaining focus on the overall business case and client objectives.
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or a closely related discipline. Chartered status or equivalent professional recognition is preferred.
- Fluent English, verbal and written.
- Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate to the UAE.
- Willing to travel on short-duration regional and international business trips as required.
