About the Role
The Principal Technical Professional-Telecommunication is responsible for the design, specification, and services related to communication systems, including satellite, line of sight, fiber optic, phone, public address systems, and the transmission of data from supervisory control and data acquisition systems. This role operates under general supervision, applying advanced engineering techniques to solve engineering problems and methods. The professional will represent the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations.

Responsibilities

• Independently apply advanced engineering techniques to address complex engineering problems.
• Make decisions on engineering methods and solutions.
• Represent the organization in negotiations and conferences with other organizations.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Serve as a consulted resource for associates, offering reliable scientific interpretations and advice.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Average experience typically ranges from 10+ years.
