RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of power electronics subsystems, including high-frequency power converters, motor drives, and control systems.
- Develop and validate designs using simulation, modelling, and testing tools to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with system requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, and mentor engineers on power electronics design, testing, and best practices.
- Drive technology development initiatives and contribute to long-term engineering strategies, capability growth, and product innovation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in power electronics development, with expertise in high-frequency power conversion and motion control systems.
- Strong background in analog, digital, and embedded control system design, integration, verification, and testing.
- Proficiency with SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium, and other power electronics design and simulation tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within the defence, aerospace, guided weapons, or precision-guided munitions sector.
- Experience with embedded firmware development, EMI/EMC compliance, and power electronics certification standards.
