Our Distributed Cloud offerings deliver the full functionality and superior economics of Oracle’s public cloud to customer data centers and edge locations, utilizing a range of deployment models and operational controls. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technical specialist to join our team, specializing in cloud infrastructure technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and optimize Private Cloud and Edge solutions using Compute Cloud at Customer (C3), Roving Edge Infrastructure (REI), and associated cloud products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to design scalable and efficient architectures for Private and Edge Cloud.
- Provide deep technical expertise and support for C3, REI, etc.
- Accelerate customer opportunities with new and existing customers through technical presentations, Proof of Concept (PoC), and solution assistance.
- Conduct workshops to educate customers and partners on Oracle product offerings and cloud strategy.
- Deliver assessments of current state architecture and recommendations for future state architecture.
- Exhibit proficiency in presenting on various topics, including IaaS (Baremetal, storage, virtualization, operating systems, SDN, HPC) and Security (Identity, Networks, etc.).
- Contribute technical responses for Invitations to Tender (ITT), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
What You Will Bring:
- Solid experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with a deep understanding of customer issues related to their journey to the cloud.
- Knowledge and background in Cloud Architecture (IaaS & PaaS) along with a strong Cloud IaaS/PaaS-oriented mindset.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and/or KVM.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of wide-area and data center networking design and implementation.
- Understanding of Oracle stack including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2 and competitors like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present, persuade, and justify business proposals effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is essential.
