Key Requirements:
- Extensive background in architecture, implementation, and delivery of large-scale hardware and software systems in real-world scenarios.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in planning and delivering cloud migration projects from traditional on-premise deployment models.
- Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches, including consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization, disaster recovery, information management, big data, Java applications, and both Oracle and non-Oracle applications.
- Proficiency in wide-area and datacenter networking design, protocols, and implementation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the IT market and trends.
- Familiarity with the full Oracle stack, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2.
- Knowledge of cloud competitors like AWS, GCP, and Azure, and their hybrid cloud offerings.
- Cloud Architecture Development/Certification in Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
- Significant experience in C-level presentations.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with strategic customers, building leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations to design and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions.
- May implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
- Display product/application understanding through highly customized presentation demonstrations to customers at conferences and events.
- Support customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration and customer education/training.
- Create and distribute technical assets, including white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
- Serve as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
- Identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
- Provide direction and mentoring to others as a leading contributor.
- Maintain expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
