Private Cloud and Edge Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Private Cloud and Edge Specialist to join our Technology Cloud Engineering teams. This role is crucial in supporting our sales team and customers by designing and shaping our cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimize Private Cloud and Edge solutions utilizing Compute Cloud at Customer (C3), Roving Edge Infrastructure (REI), and related cloud products.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop scalable and efficient architectures.
• Provide deep technical expertise and support for C3, REI, etc.
• Facilitate technical presentations, Proof of Concept (PoC), and solution assistance to accelerate customer opportunities.
• Educate customers and partners on Oracle's product offerings and Cloud strategy.
• Conduct architecture and planning cloud workshops.
• Deliver assessments and recommendations regarding current and future state architectures.
• Demonstrate the value of Oracle's Cloud Technology Solutions, focusing on C3 and RED.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with a strong focus on Cloud Architecture (IaaS & PaaS).
• Background in planning and delivering cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of architectural approaches, cloud computing, virtualization, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with Oracle and competitor cloud offerings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong C-level presentation capabilities.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
