Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and optimize Private Cloud and Edge solutions leveraging Cloud offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to create scalable and efficient architectures for Private and Edge Cloud.
- Provide deep technical expertise and support for cloud products like Compute Cloud at Customer (C3) and Roving Edge Infrastructure (REI).
- Accelerate customer opportunities through technical presentations and Proof of Concept (PoC) assistance.
- Conduct strategy, architecture, and planning workshops to educate customers about Oracle’s Cloud offerings.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Guide customers through their cloud journey with a focus on Oracle’s on-prem cloud solutions.
- Contribute to technical responses for Invitations To Tender (ITT), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
Qualifications:
- Solid experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with a strong understanding of Cloud Architecture (IaaS & PaaS).
- Knowledge of traditional on-prem solutions, hardware platforms, and Hyperconverged Systems.
- Experience in delivering cloud migration projects and in architectural approaches including virtualization and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with wide-area and data center networking design and protocols.
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and competitors (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their hybrid cloud offerings.
- Cloud Architecture Development/Cloud certification (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google) is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with significant C-level presentation expertise.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree highly desirable.
- Ability to travel as needed.
