As a Process Functional Consultant and Solution Architect specializing in SAP Master Data Governance, you will play a senior-level role responsible for leading the design, implementation, and deployment of best-in-class Master Data Governance solutions using SAP MDG for major clients or internal initiatives. This position requires a strong blend of functional consulting, deep technical-functional knowledge of SAP MDG, and leadership skills to guide project teams, advise executive stakeholders, and drive end-to-end data governance and master data management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Solution Strategy and Design Leadership:
- Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to define complex master data requirements.
- Design and architect comprehensive end-to-end SAP MDG solutions.
- Serve as the Solution Architect for MDG implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy.
- Drive the definition and implementation of data quality and data governance frameworks.

Implementation and Deployment:
- Conduct hands-on configuration and customization of the SAP MDG platform.
- Oversee techno-functional aspects of implementation alongside developers.
- Manage data migration, cleansing, and cutover strategies.
- Lead Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.

Consulting and Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management.
- Provide guidance on SAP MDG capabilities and data governance best practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
- Support pre-sales activities and proposal development.

Project and Team Management:
- Serve as Lead Consultant on large-scale MDG projects.
- Mentor junior or mid-level MDG consultants.
- Develop high-quality project documentation.
Preferred Education:
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years in SAP Consulting, specifically in Master Data Management and Data Governance; 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG. Proven full lifecycle MDG implementation experience across various data domains.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge in SAP MDG configuration, data modeling, workflow configuration, and strong understanding of related SAP technologies.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- SAP MDG Certification.
- Experience with data quality and integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Syniti).
- Familiarity with cloud-based master data solutions.
