Position

As a Procurement Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of products and services for the company’s needs and the needs of the company’s customers. Your role includes finding cost-effective deals and suppliers, as well as creating strong relationships with the company’s suppliers. With your expertise in the field of supply chain and logistics, you will ensure quality control and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management.

What you will do

  • Develop inventive and cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors for Hardware, Software, and auxiliary equipment, along with implementation contracts, SLA contracts, and logistic solutions.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors for ongoing feasibility.
  • Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Log purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain proper Hardware stock aligned with the strategy and needs of the company.
  • Ensure the company’s asset management application is always up-to-date.
  • Produce insightful reports regarding the company’s asset status and proactive actions needed.
  • Follow up on Hardware maintenance issues affecting the company’s live services.
  • Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
  • Oversee and manage the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and supply of goods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • 8+ years’ experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer, or Head of Procurement in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as proficiency in market analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Experience with Asset Management applications and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and ticket management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong analytical skills and aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data effectively.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills, with prioritization capabilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
