The internship is awarded to the top three entrants of the challenge based on their innovative product ideas. This internship is designed for individuals who are eager to grow quickly in the fields of product and design. Key Responsibilities
Interns will engage in real product decisions under the guidance of senior team members, encompassing the entire product lifecycle:

Product Work End to End:
- Identify a genuine problem within the company app, from problem definition to implementation of changes.
- Conduct research, connecting with users and analyzing data to diagnose issues accurately.
- Assess the scope of the problem and clearly communicate what you would choose not to pursue.

Design:
- Create solutions using Figma, laying out user flows, screens, states, and edge cases.
- Engage in critique sessions with product and design teams, refining your work based on feedback.
- Collaborate with engineers through the handoff process and remain involved until the release of the product.

After Launch:
- Measure outcomes effectively, assessing whether the solution was successful.
- Provide honest feedback to the team, including results that do not meet expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work together with engineers, analysts, and product managers around shared challenges.
- Present your findings, defend your decisions, and adapt your perspectives based on evidence.
- Document your work clearly for team members who may not have been present.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Your application must demonstrate your ability to make product decisions—not just design screens.
- Proficiency in Figma: creating components, prototyping, and facilitating handoffs to engineers.
- Strong written communication skills in either Arabic or English.
- Willingness to accept constructive critique and defend your choices with evidence.
- Prior work should include a personal app, a university project with real users, or freelance product work.
- Basic understanding of data analytics: ability to interpret metrics and funnel statistics.
- Familiarity with front-end concepts to differentiate between cost-effective and expensive building solutions.
- Genuine interest in fintech, payments, or insight into financial behaviors in Saudi Arabia.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experienced in professional product design or product management.
- A relevant degree in design.
- A portfolio showcasing polished work; in-progress projects are also accepted.
- Certifications in related fields.
Eligibility, Format, and Dates
- Open to Saudi Arabia residents 18 years and older; single entries only (no teams).
- Current employees and contractors of the company, their immediate families, and anyone who has left the company in the last year are ineligible.
- The internship requires full-time engagement with expected ownership and involvement.
Internship Details
- Duration is six months, starting after the final event in mid-October 2026.
- The position is fully paid by the company at SAR 3,000 per month.
- Interns will be incorporated into a product or design team that aligns with their challenge work.
- The work environment is primarily office-based for those located in Riyadh, given the distributed team setup across multiple countries.
- A pathway to a junior role on the team following the internship is anticipated, although outcomes depend on performance during the internship.
- Three internships are available for the first, second, and third prize winners of the company Imagine.
- Interns will sign a separate contract and fulfill necessary eligibility checks.
Timeline for the Challenge
- Entries Open: 16 September.
- Entries Close: 30 September.
- Final Presentation: 15 October, which serves as the interview.
