About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Product Designer to define the visual and interactive language of an Agentic AI ecosystem. Your focus will not solely be on designing screens but will extend to creating experiences that thrive in the physical world. Your mission involves weaving a seamless multi-modal interface where Chat, Voice, and Video Avatars exist harmoniously. You will design for a variety of hardware, including high-fidelity tablets, smart mirrors, low-power ePaper displays, wearables, and watches. The ideal designer will adeptly balance the "High-Tech" capabilities of Agentic AI with "High-Touch" minimalist aesthetics, resulting in a system that is both deeply intelligent and elegantly passive.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Modal Interaction Design
- Design the interaction flow between Voice, Chat, and Video Avatars ensuring a consistent “personality” across modalities.
- Develop UX patterns for Agentic Systems, focusing on user interruptions and AI communication during active processing.
- Create intuitive interfaces for complex data, transforming deep AI insights into actionable visual cues that are easy to understand.

Ambient & Passive Display Design
- Create “glanceable” interfaces for ePaper displays, smart mirrors, and wearables that convey information unobtrusively.
- Design “Context-Aware” UI that modifies according to the device, such as detailed dashboards for tablets versus simplified icons for watches.
- Explore Haptic and Wearable UX, designing user interactions that feel natural and non-distracting on devices like watches and wearables.

Dashboard & Data Visualization
- Build simple, effective dashboards enabling users to monitor their smart home or commercial spaces at a glance.
- Innovate “Progressive Disclosure” systems to maintain a clean primary interface while allowing advanced users to access deeper data and logs.
- Collaborate with the Data Analyst team to convert complex telemetry data into meaningful, beautiful visualizations.

Aesthetic & Brand Stewardship
- Uphold a Modern Minimalist design language characterized by clean lines, purposeful typography, and a sophisticated color palette.
- Ensure brand aesthetics are consistently applied across all touchpoints, from physical wall switches to digital avatars.
- Work alongside engineers to guarantee that high-fidelity designs are technically feasible and performant, particularly on low-power hardware such as ePaper displays.
Technical Requirements
- Design Tools: Expert in Figma, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and familiar with prototyping tools such as ProtoPie and Framer.
- UX Principles: Extensive knowledge of Multi-Modal Interaction, Voice UI (VUI), and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
- Visual Design: Strong capabilities in Modern Minimalism, Typography, Motion Design, and Iconography.
- Hardware Awareness: Experience in designing for Wearables, ePaper, Smart Mirrors, and various IoT devices.
- AI Literacy: Understanding of Agentic Workflows, LLM interactions, and Avatar animation.
- Prototyping: Ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes that simulate voice and video flows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ambient Computing: Portfolio showcasing work with “invisible” technology that integrates seamlessly into users’ lives.
- Voice/Avatar Experience: Demonstrable experience in designing for voice-first interfaces or digital human/avatar interactions.
- Hardware Product Design: Proficiency in working with physical products, understanding different screen technologies like OLED and ePaper.
- Systems Thinking: Capability to develop a unified design system that scales across 10+ distinct device types.
