Product Designer

Astra Tech is a UAE-based technology investment and development group on a mission to build the world’s first ultra platform and ecosystem, set to disrupt the consumer technology space. This innovative platform aims to simplify interactions and transactions between people and businesses in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Astra Tech's goal is to enhance lives by streamlining communication and e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Execution: Deliver user-centered designs for features across Botim’s ecosystem; create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using industry-standard tools; follow established design systems and guidelines for consistency.
• Problem Solving: Translate user research insights into actionable design improvements; adapt existing frameworks to propose meaningful updates to usability and workflows.
• Collaboration and Communication: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on design objectives; articulate design rationale to team members and stakeholders, expanding influence.
• Continuous Learning and Growth: Stay informed about emerging technologies, particularly AI and machine learning, and explore their integration into design workflows; contribute to Astra Tech’s mission by finding innovative ways to enhance user experience through technology.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in product design or a similar role, ideally within a tech-focused company.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma).
• Proficiency in prototyping and animation tools (e.g., Protopie, After Effects, Lottie).
• Basic understanding of user research methodologies and interaction design.
• Ability to create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams.
