Product Engineer

About the Job
The Product Engineer will meet with business management, marketing, and the R&D team to discuss product ideas. This role involves conducting market research and evaluating similar products and their functions, as well as collaborating with the engineering and marketing department on product feasibility. The responsibilities include redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs, creating design projects and specification sheets, and presenting product designs to management and stakeholders. Additionally, the Product Engineer will oversee the engineering of product prototypes, testing them for functionality, ease-of-use, and longevity, resolving product issues, and overseeing the production process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, or relevant field
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in the relevant management software programs
• Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
