Product Engineer

About the Job
As a Product Engineer, you will engage with business management, marketing, and the R&D team to brainstorm and discuss innovative product ideas. Your role will involve conducting market research and assessing similar products to understand their functionalities. You will collaborate closely with both the engineering and marketing departments to evaluate product feasibility and may be involved in redesigning existing products to improve their functionality or reduce costs.

Your responsibilities will also include creating design projects and specification sheets, presenting product designs to management and stakeholders, overseeing the engineering of product prototypes, and conducting tests on these prototypes to ensure they meet standards for functionality, ease of use, and longevity. You will be tasked with resolving any product issues that arise and overseeing the production process to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, or a relevant field
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in the relevant management software programs
• Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
