Product Engineer II - Backend

As a Backend Engineer, you will play a vital role in building advanced platforms that enable seamless and scalable transactions. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing secure software infrastructure to enhance user experiences. You will collaborate with talented engineers, designers, analysts, and other team members to develop technical solutions and tackle complex problems, ultimately changing how millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across the company’s engineering teams.
• Debug production issues across services and various levels of the stack.
• Collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to understand and address user pain points.

Your Expertise:

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong background in building scalable products and services.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of AWS, OCI, and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Experience with distributed systems using messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
• A proactive, goal-oriented, and self-structured approach to work.
• Experience in a startup environment is desirable.
• Team player with a creative mindset and a passion for exploring new technologies.
