Responsibilities:
- Leverage domain expertise to develop effective solutions.
- Build, test, QA, and implement data conversion workflows.
- Research and apply cutting-edge methods and technologies in remote sensing.
- Understand, create, and explain new products stemming from raster analysis.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in remote sensing and GIS.
- Familiarity with image services, mosaic datasets, and geoprocessing tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate in teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical presentations and cross-organizational interactions.
- Knowledge of remote sensing science and algorithms for extracting information from imagery.
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Master's degree in remote sensing, GIS, or a related field.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Experience in image processing and analysis.
- Familiarity with big data and cloud infrastructure (Amazon, Azure).
- Proficiency in Python or other high-level programming languages.
- Proven capability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions.
