About the Role
The Product Manager is accountable for defining, developing, and driving the product road map and lifecycle of the turbofan propulsion systems throughout the full lifecycle. The role ensures that market needs, customer expectations, and platform integration requirements are translated into clear product objectives, priorities, and development pathways. Acting as the voice of the product inside the department and the voice of the customer, this position serves as a primary interface with platform OEMs and partners.

POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for overall coordination of engineering, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and industrialization to ensure engine compliance during development tests and serial phases; maintain the product requirements follow-up and ensure proper traceability to customer needs and certification standards.
  • Capture and consolidate customer requirements and mission needs, translating them into prioritized product specifications and technical/engineering requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with platform integrators and ensure alignment between platform and engine road maps.
  • Coordinate and maintain the product plan and key success factors to reach milestones (PDR, CDR, SOF, Serial…) including consistency of deliverables.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality processes.
  • Support business development activities by providing product expertise, performance estimations, and value propositions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems.
  • Solid understanding of turbofan architectures and their integration constraints, performance drivers, and technology road maps.
  • Experience in product management, program leadership, system approach, and all related tools.

Skills

  • High customer orientation and business mindset.
  • Strong product vision and understanding of market trends/drivers.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
