Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall Insurance P&L by establishing close working relationships with stakeholders to deliver revenue and profit targets by driving insurance products activities across channels and segments.
  • Support in the execution of Banca Business Plan across all insurance activities, with special emphasis on digital initiatives in alignment with Insurance Partners and the Group strategy.
  • Leverage technology to streamline and enhance product offering and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to implement digital solutions.
  • Promote digital solutions to improve customer experience.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of new product launches including operational set up, marketing, sales training etc.
  • Initiate, develop, maintain, and update processes for new product basis changing business needs and as per internal guidelines.
  • Coordinate with GOPS/Wealth Ops/IT in developing new or enhanced processes required for new products/ existing products & digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Business to understand their requirements and deliver Process support to simplify existing processes.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in processes and operational systems and streamline the same to enable ease of functioning.
  • Monitor processes to ensure that they are compliant with guidelines laid down by the Regulator and Bank’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage monthly reporting of Bancassurance financials, track performance of products and channels to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Provide support and insight in handling and investigating customer complaints received from GCE / Wealth ops / Segments.
  • Maintain and provide inputs for updating ops risks database, basis learnings from day-to-day activities management.
  • Always ensure Regulatory compliance by working closely with Bank’s internal Compliance units so that products and services are compliant with established rules and regulations.
  • Effective communication on business plans, goals and updates with internal and external teams.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within a Private/Personal banking or division of a reputed Financial Institution.
  • Digital Project experience preferred.
  • Well versed with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point.
