Position

This role is responsible for managing the credit cards acquisitions and product programs at the company across the customer life cycle, including product development, acquisition, early account management, lifecycle management, product profitability, and product maintenance. The objective of the role is to achieve sustainable growth in business volumes, revenues, and net profits through developing attractive and sustainable products, optimizing credit cards acquisition, and running innovative portfolio and lifecycle programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain attractive and sustainable card products that drive customer acquisition and usage.
  • Explore potential co-brand and other product partnerships, prepare business case pitch decks, and align with internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing value propositions and make strategic changes to ensure competitiveness.
  • Conduct detailed cost estimations and cost-benefit analyses across products.
  • Identify and form strategic partnerships to augment customer value propositions.
  • Drive product launches and maintenance, coordinating with internal teams like IT, Ops, and Marketing.
  • Conceptualize credit cards acquisition strategies aimed at maximizing activation and early spends.
  • Work closely with the risk team to evaluate policy programs and implement changes for risk-adjusted returns.
  • Create programs for effective onboarding and early account management.
  • Own the customer experience for all initiatives, focusing on digitization and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Post Graduate in Marketing Management.
  • 8-9 years of Marketing & Brand management experience, with at least 3 years in a leading credit cards business.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills for executing product launches and promotions.
  • Strategic vision and understanding of the revenue dynamics of the cards business.
  • Ability to independently evaluate and execute product ideas from internal and external sources.
  • Excellent analytical skills for tracking trends and identifying opportunities.
  • Proficient in PC skills and understanding of systems/processes for hands-on product development.
