About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will own the vision, backlog, and delivery of digital products built for clients across government, semi-government, and private sectors. Acting as a bridge between client stakeholders and the delivery team, you will ensure that the products developed effectively address the right problems. Your role will involve collaborative work with solution architects, UI/UX designers, developers, and QA engineers, transforming business needs into a clear, prioritized backlog and guiding each release from discovery to adoption. Every increment you manage will aim to deliver measurable value to the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and release plan in line with the client's strategic and digital transformation objectives.
  • Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user needs, risk, and technical dependencies.
  • Translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the delivery team to estimate and build.
  • Act as the main point of contact between client stakeholders and the delivery team, running workshops, demos, and providing updates.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies with the Scrum Master, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work with the Solution Architect and UI/UX Designer to ensure solutions are feasible, user-centered, and aligned with architectural standards.
  • Define product KPIs and success metrics, track them post go-live, and use the data to drive the next round of improvements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and assess completed work against agreed acceptance criteria for acceptance or rejection.
  • Manage scope, timelines, and trade-offs, escalating risks and dependencies early with clear options and recommendations.
  • Produce and maintain product documentation, including requirements, release notes, and user guides to support handover and adoption.
  • Contribute to proposals and pre-sales work by shaping digital product scope, estimates, and delivery approaches.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product delivery, with at least 3 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager on web or mobile platforms.
  • Proven experience owning a product backlog and writing user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience working directly with senior client or business stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog tools, plus Confluence and Figma or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, APIs, and system integrations, enough to discuss trade-offs with engineers.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
