Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for POS and Business in a Box, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Build business cases, size opportunities, and track competitor and market developments.
- Delivery
- Write product requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria; manage grooming and sprint planning with the Technology team.
- Oversee UAT, release readiness, go-live, and post-launch support, implementing clear quality gates.
- Evaluate and introduce new capabilities, including AI-enabled features to enhance merchant value, risk control, or operational efficiency.
- Commercial and Go-to-Market
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Merchant Operations on proposition positioning, pricing inputs, launch plans, and training initiatives.
- Monitor adoption, revenue, onboarding conversion, and gather merchant feedback to inform actions.
- Stakeholders and Governance
- Partner with banks, schemes, fintechs, and terminal vendors on integrations, certifications, and commercial terms.
- Work alongside Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and Legal to ensure products adhere to PCI, scheme, and regulatory requirements.
- Report on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions to senior management.
Product Scope
- POS Portfolio
- N-Genius Android POS terminals and Mini POS, accepting 25+ payment methods including cards, wallets, QR, and BNPL, with Pay by Link available from the terminal, among other features.
- Value-added services on POS.
- Acquiring processing products and services.
- Business in a Box
- A comprehensive offering for SMEs and new merchants, combining a terminal with a white-labelled ERP application for inventory and catalogue management.
- Manage the end-to-end process covering packaging, pricing inputs, onboarding journey, partner and channel integration, and lifecycle performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in product management or product ownership within payments, acquiring, POS, or fintech environments.
- Proficient understanding of card acquiring, transaction flows, settlement processes, EMV, PCI DSS, and scheme rules.
- Strong preference for experience in delivering POS, QR, wallet, BNPL, or installment products, or the merchant onboarding journey.
- Product management, Agile, or business analysis certification is an advantage.

- Product Craft: Expertise in roadmapping, requirement writing, backlog prioritization, UAT, and release management.
- Commercial Insight: Skilled in business cases, unit economics, pricing strategy, and KPI ownership.
- Influence: Ability to align Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk, and external partners without direct authority.
- Analytical Abilities: Use of transaction, onboarding, and usage data to inform decisions.
- Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders and merchants.
