Product Manager - Procurement

About the Job
ByteDance is seeking a Product Manager for its Procurement Information System team. This role is integral to the planning and construction of internal systems such as human resources, finance, legal affairs, procurement, and approval processes. The Product Manager will be responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing improvement of procurement products, such as the Marketplace, Procurement Platform, and Resource Management System.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the product strategy, roadmap, and goals for large cross-functional areas of procurement products.
• Solicit ideas and feedback, gather requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Define and analyze metrics; perform detailed retrospective and prospective analyses of product performance.
• Evaluate global market trends to drive strategic product decisions.
• Collaborate with product R&D teams based in China and English-speaking countries to facilitate the implementation of product solutions and ensure project progress.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• A minimum of three years of product management experience.
• Profound understanding of enterprise application products with a strong ownership mindset, innovation, and results-focused mentality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear solutions and achieve challenging goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to foster trusted relationships with cross-functional teams for collaborative success.
• Experience in internal procurement products, particularly within the internet or technology sectors.
