This role involves collaboration with Global Product Hubs, driving software lifecycle management, and implementing phase-in/phase-out (PiPo) for digital platforms. You will significantly influence commercial success by offering in-depth technical tender support for IT-heavy procurement, equipping local sales teams with specialized software training, and managing centralized marketing notifications, material introductions, customer presentations, and interactions. Ultimately, you will be pivotal in navigating the complexity of global digital/software solutions and executing them in local markets while protecting and growing market share in a fast-evolving digital healthcare landscape.

Major Responsibilities

  • Portfolio & Lifecycle Management: Drive specific portfolio initiatives, manage product life cycles, material introductions, and PiPo transitions, ensuring smooth customer experience and local revenue streams.
  • Technical Tender Support: Serve as the subject matter expert for RIS digital portfolios by providing detailed software specifications, IT architecture requirements, and data security documentation needed for successful procurement processes and informatics tenders.
  • Technical Training & Sales Enablement: Deliver and coordinate advanced technical product training for local commercial teams, ensuring alignment with global standards, and empowering sales teams to effectively articulate the value of Lab and Healthcare Insights while engaging them around complex technical requirements.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Represent local affiliate interests within Global Product Hubs and Regional Communities of Practice (CoP), ensuring regional IT infrastructure and data privacy needs are incorporated into global digital product strategies.

Stakeholders & Relationships

  • Global Product Hubs & Regional CoPs: Interface with these groups to represent local technical needs, provide feedback, and align on training standards.
  • Integrated Marketing Partners: Collaborate to supply technical specifications and digital narratives needed for impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Tender & Key Account Management Teams: Work closely to provide technical support and IT documentation required for strategic tender submissions involving CIOs and hospital IT boards.
  • Network Commercial & Sales Teams: Improve the sales force's capabilities by providing rigorous digital solution training and managing platform transitions.
  • Quality, Regulatory, IT & Data Privacy Teams: Ensure compliance in distributing Marketing Notifications (MNs) and aligning product transitions with local data privacy laws and regulations.

Financial Scope & Budget Responsibilities

  • Pricing Implementation: Responsible for local pricing strategies for the RIS portfolio during activations.
  • Tender Revenue Protection: Influence affiliate revenue by ensuring technical compliance in high-value, multi-year laboratory IT and digital solutions tenders.
  • Operational Efficiency: Effectively manage product transitions (PiPo) to minimize disruptions during software upgrades and digital material introductions.

Leadership Skills & Lateral Management

  • This role is an Individual Contributor position requiring exceptional lateral leadership, managing high technical complexity across the RIS portfolio without direct reporting lines.

  • Tender & Procurement Acumen: Proven experience navigating complex IT tender specifications and hospital procurement processes while engaging IT directors and CIOs.
  • Matrix Leadership: Ability to influence internal sales leaders, cross-functional local teams, and global hubs without direct authority.
  • Change Agility: Ability to adapt to change and drive new ways of working within a transforming global framework.
  • Authentic & Courageous Leadership: Build trust through transparent communication and integrity, challenge the status quo, and promote diverse perspectives.
  • Collaboration and Operational Excellence: Standardize processes and align global digital hubs with local data privacy regulations and execution.
