Your Day-to-Day
- Learn the Point of Sale app properly in your first few weeks. Not a demo walkthrough; you'll need to know how a restaurant actually uses it before you change anything, and how the whole food delivery system fits together around it.
- Own one product end to end: take the direction you're given, write the PRD, refine it with the dev team, get stakeholders aligned, and drive it until it's live. Then measure the outcome.
- Unblock the operations team, focusing on POS work that is actively slowing down restaurant onboarding.
- Grow into the admin dashboard and the customer app as your scope widens.
- Talk to the people who use what you build: customers, restaurant owners, and our own ops team.
- Work directly with design and engineering in a small team with short communication lines.
- Ship weekly and evaluate the results of your decisions in days, not quarters.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years as a product manager or product owner, particularly in a startup or fast-moving team.
- B2C mobile product experience, with real users to demonstrate.
- Experience with internal tools, dashboards, or ops products.
- Ability to write clear PRDs, conduct deep research, and obtain approvals efficiently.
- Comfortable with data analysis. You can define metrics, pull numbers, and adapt based on findings.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English. Arabic for the Saudi market and our ops team, and English for the product and engineering team.
- Understanding of the Saudi market or experience building for it.
- Familiarity with using AI in your workflow.
- Passion for product development, staying informed through books, podcasts, and industry leaders.
Bonus
- Experience in food delivery, q-commerce, or e-commerce.
- Previous work on POS, restaurant tech, or logistics products.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Linear, Mixpanel, Metabase, or similar.
- Marketing experience.
- Experience launching products into Saudi or the wider GCC.
- A degree in computer science or engineering.
How We Work
- The products include the customer app, POS, driver app, and admin dashboard.
- Your team consists of product, design, mobile, backend, and operations professionals, all easily reachable through messaging.
- Your manager will be the product lead, who provides direction and well-defined problems to execute, ensuring a hands-on role.
