Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial expertise on product line and business plans to inform strategy and decision-making within sales campaign activities.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges, making recommendations to improve products, processes, services, and pricing strategies, utilizing industry trends to enhance commercial offerings for desired win rates.
  • Lead development of creative solutions for complex issues and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate the quality of received information, questioning conflicting data. Utilize resources to help arrive at recommendations and decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to efficiently progress deal activity, influencing and driving campaign closures with the sales team.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or projects, managing moderate resource requirements, risks, and complexity. Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally for different perspectives.
  • Develop customer engagement strategies for assigned regions in coordination with Product Marketing, Sales, and Boeing.
  • Understand and improve the value sell effectively communicating to customers.
  • Support customer negotiations to ensure contractual terms mitigate financial and execution risks for the Product Line.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the Biz Ops function and coordination with other functions to execute on Product Line priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in customer-facing roles, contract negotiations, Product Management, or Services.

  • Commercial acumen with strong understanding of commercial value levers and the customer's perspective.
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects related to the products and services offered.
  • Demonstrated application of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, with familiarity in tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying issues and developing effective solutions, including critical and creative thinking.
  • Skills in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with customers for mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Efficient time management and prioritization to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration with various departments to achieve common goals.
