Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for EFTPOS payment services aligned with business goals and market needs in Saudi Arabia.
- Define product scope, priorities, and success metrics across the full product lifecycle.
- Translate business, regulatory, and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog using tools such as Jira and Notion, ensuring alignment with delivery capacity and strategic objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, QA, operations, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Support release planning, readiness, and rollout activities to ensure smooth and predictable launches.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner within Fintech, Banking, or Payment Services.
- Hands-on experience managing EFTPOS / POS payment products is mandatory.
- Strong practical experience with:
- mada payment interfaces
- ISO 8583 messaging
- NEXO / ISO 20022 standards
- Solid understanding of:
- In-store payments
- POS / SoftPOS / ECR systems
- Acquiring platforms and transaction processing flows
- Proven experience using Jira, Notion, and similar product and delivery management tools.
- Strong background working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban), collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi payments ecosystem and local market dynamics.
Nice to Have
- Prior involvement in mada certification or scheme compliance initiatives.
- Experience working with MSPs, acquirers, or payment gateways.
- Exposure to POS terminal software, TMS, or merchant management platforms.
