In this position, you will keep abreast of rapidly evolving AI and data trends, optimizing data at scale and facilitating inter-organizational data sharing to unlock new revenue streams. You will develop a multi-year product vision aimed at maximizing business value throughout the organization, translating this vision into actionable steps by maintaining and prioritizing a product backlog. Working closely with a team of technical experts and customer representatives, you will ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused product releases. Your strong understanding of technology and industry dynamics, along with solid stakeholder relationships, will be crucial for ensuring team alignment with the organization's goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for AI, IoT, and data platform initiatives.
- Align project goals with business objectives to deliver organizational value.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of developers, data scientists, and engineers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation while overseeing project execution.
- Ensure project completion within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend best practices for adoption.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Communicate project statuses, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Monitor and enhance performance of AI, IoT, and data platform solutions.
- Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
- Document solutions and processes while providing training and support to team members.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
Minimum Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in IT management, focusing on AI, IoT, and data platforms.
- Proven experience leading agile projects as a product owner and scrum master.
- Formal project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management) are advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and IoT technologies.
- Proficiency in data platform technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experienced in facilitating agile practices and managing product backlogs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to lead teams to deliver solutions.
