Product Owner - Airline Domain

The company is seeking a Mobile App Product Owner with 8+ years of experience to drive the delivery and continuous improvement of mobile applications for the airline domain. This role combines responsibilities of both a Product Owner (PO) and a Business Analyst (BA), focusing on bridging business requirements, user experience, and engineering execution. The successful candidate will translate strategy into a prioritized backlog, define clear requirements, and ensure high-quality outcomes through iterative delivery.

You will collaborate closely with design, engineering, quality assurance, analytics, operations, and business stakeholders to enhance customer experience and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Ownership & Agile Delivery:

  • Manage the mobile app backlog ensuring clarity, prioritization, and readiness for development.
  • Define product goals, roadmap inputs, and sprint objectives aligned with business outcomes.
  • Write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and manage trade-offs transparently.

• Business Analysis & Requirements Management:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements through interviews, workshops, journey mapping, and data review.
  • Maintain requirements traceability to ensure functionality meets business intent.

• Customer Experience & UX Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to shape user journeys and ensure consistent experiences across platforms.
  • Advocate for accessibility and clarity across key user tasks.

• Quality, Release & Operational Readiness:

  • Ensure product readiness through QA support, UAT coordination, and monitoring post-release performance for continuous improvement.

• Data & Performance:

  • Define success metrics and collaborate with analytics teams for insights generation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must-Have:

  • 7+ years in a Product Owner or hybrid PO/BA role focused on mobile apps.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Proficient in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data for decision-making.

• Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with mobile platform capabilities (deep links, push notifications, etc.) and in regulated environments (security, payments).

Tools & Technologies (Desired):

• Jira / Confluence
• Figma / FigJam
• Analytics tools (Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Feature flag tools and mobile release workflows familiarity

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
