Key Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements for cybersecurity products and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity engineers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Own and manage the product backlog; ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives).
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, industry trends, and regulatory changes (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis in the cybersecurity space to guide product direction.
- Act as the product evangelist and primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure security and privacy best practices are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Proven experience working in cybersecurity-focused projects or companies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat modeling, and secure development practices.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Product certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cloud security, identity & access management (IAM), or threat detection.
- Hands-on experience with security tools or platforms.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and secure CI/CD pipelines.
