How You Will Make a Difference
- Defining a clear product vision that aligns customer value with technical feasibility and business objectives.
- Translating complex market needs into detailed, actionable requirements for our research and development teams.
- Owning the product backlog to ensure the most impactful initiatives are prioritized and delivered.
- Collaborating across engineering, quality, and commercial teams to support effective product delivery and market success.
- Monitoring product performance through key metrics and feedback to drive iterative enhancements.
Core Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- Substantive experience in product management, systems, or application engineering within power systems, protection and control, or substation automation.
- Deep working knowledge of protection and control relays and digital substation technologies.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to negotiate and present technical visions to diverse internal and external audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in dynamic environments.
Desired Expertise
- Comfort navigating Agile methodologies and modern product development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with the company Grid Automation products or equivalent competitive solutions, particularly for Distribution and Industrial sectors.
- A track record of developing or managing applications for the protection and control market.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 61850, IEC 61508, DNP3, Modbus, and essential cybersecurity protocols.
- Confidence in utilizing mathematical modeling software to inform decision-making.
- Experience contributing to the industry through technical papers, journal articles, or conference presentations.
Work Conditions
This is a permanent position based in our Bilbao, Stafford, or Dubai office. We have a hybrid working model which gives you the flexibility to work from our offices and from home.
